BUS
If you want to get as close to the church as possible you should take bus number 34 or 54. These will literally stop next to the church. The stop is named “Jakob Kirke”. You can also take bus number 30, 31, 31E and 32 and jump off at “Hausmannsgate”. From there it’s a 4 minute walk.
TRAM
You can use tram number 11, 12 and 18. The stop is named «Hausmannsgate» and is a short 3 minute walk from the church.
TRAIN OR FLIGHT
When you arrive by train or flight, jump of at Oslo S (Oslo Sentralbanestasjon/Oslo Central Station). From there you can take one of the buses or trams mentioned above, or walk for 10 minutes.
HOTEL
There are several hotels in walking-distance to the venues. Here are some of our recommendations:
Anker Hotel
Sabbathians can get a discount with the code “HOST” at both Anker Hotel and Anker Hostel for the festival-dates if booked on their webpage.

Comfort Xpress Hotel Youngstorget
Walking distance: 7 min.
Walking distance: 9 min.
TENT, food AND TOILETS
There will be a big tent connected to the church where there will be a lot of seatings, great barbecue food (for both meat lovers and vegans) and refreshing drinks. You will also find the toilets outside beside the tent, and a couple ones in the crypt/basement.
BARS
Yes, there will be bars. One in the The Chapel room, one in The Crypt, one at Verkstedet and one in the big tent outside the church. Yummy!
Merch
There will be merch, and there will be lots of it. You’ll find it in the tent. All the merch will be possible to buy with cash. Some of the merch will be possible to buy with Vipps (Norwegian money transfer app). And some merch can buy with credit card. More info on this when the festival is closing up.
Stages
There will be three alternating stages with their own unique vibe.
1. THE CHAPEL. In the church room you will find the stunning main stage. This stage will fit all of you. Meet up and revel in!
2. THE CRYPT is a smaller club stage in the basement with all the dungeon vibes needed. This stage has a limited capasity (120 people), which means if you are dying to see a band – get there early to be sure you don’t miss out. When the capasity is reached, there will be one person out one person in-principle.
3. THE DOME is a new venue for 2023. An amazing venue at DOGA, next to the Church, with a capacity of 390 people.
4. VERKSTEDET is a concert venue and bar literally across the street from the church with a capacity of 140 people. This is a new addition to this years Høstsabbat and will be a stage with Norwegian bands only. When the capasity is reached, there will be one person out one person in-principle, so be early to catch your favourite.

You don’t need to send us files for download or CDs. If we like what we hear, we will be in touch.
The bookings for Høstsabbat festival is curated by us, and in most cases we will actually be the ones contacting the bands/agencies directly.
